  Representative Players   Information

The Under 11 Boys Coulter Shield & Under 11 Girls Southern Cross is played on the first Sunday of August every year, at the same venue and games will start at approximately 8:00am.

For a number of years now, the Boys and Girls carnivals have been hosted by the Brisbane Men’s Hockey Assoc & Brisbane Women’s Hockey Assoc at DOWNEY PARK16 Melbourne St, Windsor, Brisbane (off Green Terrace).   This provides a fantastic carnival atmosphere for all the players and supporters.  Canteen is provided throughout the day for lunch, snacks and drinks.  First Aid is supplied on the day by the host Association.

The bus leaves  Murwillumbah Hockey Centre at 5am sharp (please be on time).

There will be an additional pick-up at Chinderah Fish & Chip shop (opposite the boat ramp and park) no later than 5:15am.    Departure times will be confirmed by the team Managers.

All players must travel on the bus provided  -  COST OF THE BUS IS $30

Players must bring with them:

  • hockey stick
  • girls uniform top is provided and to returned at the end of the day.  Skirts are to be purchased from TBHA at a cost of $30
  • warm clothing (wet weather gear if it looks rainy)
  • TBHA Rep socks $10 pair  – available from the office
  • shin guards,  mouth guard,  sun-screen  &  hat
  • plenty of water – healthy snacks optional
  • spending money – optional

Upon completion of the carnival, if parents wish to take their children home with them they MUST advise their child’s manager before leaving.

As a canteen is in operation you may wish to provide spending money for the day – generally there is a meal stop on the way home for the hungry players  (though please check with your manager for confirmation).

We require all player’s Parents/Guradian to fill out a TBHA Medical Information Form and an U11 Representative Player Agreement Form per player.  These forms are given to the Team Manager and are available on the website.

We hope representative hockey is an enjoyable experience for players and parents
