Hi Everyone

1. The Board last night decided to delay the start of the hockey season to:
2. Friday 9th & Saturday 10th April  for SENIORS
   Friday 16th & Saturday 17th April for JUNIORS
   Reasons for the delayed start include:
   Clubs and teams need a little more time to organise
   Our Winter License Agreement with TSC does not start until April.
   Clash of weekends with cricket finals affecting too many players (as it did last yr)
3.  The Just Hockey agent for Tweed Border is now located in the Sportsworld store in Main St Muwillumbah.  Jason and Alison have taken over the agency and offer all of the usual Just Hockey equipment at catalogue prices (no mark up for Sportsworld).  As Just Hockey is a major sponsor of HQld and TBHA would appreciate your club’s and member’s support of Just Hockey.  I have attached a flyer.
4.  We are still waiting on a number of Clubs to supply their UMPIRE MENTOR and JUNIOR COORDINATOR – these are important positions within your club and our Assoc. so pls forward their names and contact details ASAP
5. Don’t forget (from the Delegates Meeting) the Clubs with U15/16 B teams we need to know if parents and players are willing to participate in the GC competition (one round only integrated thru the season).  This is listed as item 6.4 in the attached Delegates minutes.   ALSO if majority of players ages will be U15 or U16.  Pls let me know by 20th March.
6. CLEARANCES   -Don’t forget if you have a new player (from another club state, or district) that has played in the past 5 yrs they require a clearance. A copy must be forwarded to Assoc before they take the field.
7. QLD Dual Registrations – following info is from HQld – form attached
8. As some of you have or will be starting sign on very soon, please find attached the 2010 Dual Registration Form.  Please have a read of the form and note the changes for 2010.  All forms are to be typed not handwritten, printed and then signed and returned email, fax or post.  Late forms will not be accepted.
