Hi Matt
The Australian sports Commission will be holding a FREE Community Coach Training Program (CCTP) for the Tweed region on Friday 25 June.
The course is for those who would like to become community coaches in the Active After-school Communities program. (Note: It is a registration requirement that coaches in the AASC program in NSW complete the CCTP course and have a cleared NSW Working With Children Check before delivering AASC activity and sport sessions.)
At the course participants will: · Learn about the ‘playing for life’ and ‘games sense’ approach to coaching in a hands-on setting · Receive resources, including a CD-ROM filled with innovative activities and games · Be eligible to register with the Australian Sports Commission as a AASC community coach
The course will be held in the Tweed region (venue to be announced) on Friday 25 June. Enrolments close on Monday 21 June.
An enrolment form and flier are attached.
